Illustrating picture books is a different realm to creating regular art that stands alone. What do you need to do that is different? How does the illustrator play a part in telling the story? What types of Materials do you need and how do they work? What is the 'gutter', the 'bleed', the 'air'? How do I present my portfolio to a publisher? This workshop is suitable for illustrators and writers who want to understand the illustration process. The workshop will mostly involve demonstrations and tutorials.
